Draw strength from a mug of fragrant, delicious tea and enjoy life!
Do you know that moment in the middle of the day when your momentum suddenly runs out? You're not sick, not really tired either – you'd just like something to get you moving again. UKKO Vitality tea was made for exactly this moment.
Black tea – calm alertness
The base of the blend is black tea, whose theine is invigorating, but gentler and more even than coffee. The tea leaf also contains an amino acid called L-theanine, which moderates the sharp effect of caffeine: instead of a sudden energy rush followed by a crash, you get balanced, lasting alertness.
Jasmine flower – the scent that lingers
For more than two thousand years, jasmine has been one of the most precious flowers of Chinese tea culture; the finest teas were traditionally scented with it, in several rounds, with fresh flowers. Its sweetish, honeyed scent makes the first sip unforgettable.
Lemon peel – a sunny ring
The essential oils of lemon peel, primarily limonene and citral, give the fresh, citrusy ring that makes the whole cup shine.
80 g tea blend, approx. 40 servings. 100% natural – without added flavorings, additives or sugar.
Vitality tea isn't tied to a season. Warm in the morning or early afternoon it's a real energizer, and in summer, chilled with ice cubes and a slice of fresh lemon, it makes a really refreshing iced tea.
Effects and benefits:
Active compounds
Caffeine (theine), L-theanine, polyphenols – theaflavins, thearubigins –, essential oils (limonene, citral), flavonoids.
Characteristics of the blend
- Invigorating theine content: the caffeine in black tea can help when you need a little boost
- Moderate caffeine content: the recipe is more diluted than classic black teas, so a mug contains significantly less caffeine than a cup of coffee – just enough for a boost
- Calm alertness: the L-theanine content of the tea leaf makes the effect of caffeine more balanced than with coffee
- Antioxidant compounds: the polyphenols of black tea and the flavonoids of jasmine flower and lemon peel are compounds with antioxidant effects
- Aroma experience: the honeyed aroma of jasmine and the citrusy aroma of lemon peel can already be sensed while brewing
- Sugar- and flavoring-free: tasty even without sweetening, a good choice instead of sugary soft drinks or energy drinks
- Hot or cold: the same blend works great as an iced tea

Directions for use:
Preparing the tea
- Boil water for tea, then let it cool for a few minutes to approx. 80 °C.
- Steep 1 teaspoon of the tea blend in 0.4–0.5 liters of water for 10–15 minutes, then strain.
- The tea prepared this way can be drunk immediately – there's no need to add sweetener, the tea tastes very good without it.
Recommended consumption
Tip: if you'd like a milder, less astringent taste, steep it for a shorter time (5–8 minutes). Most of the caffeine dissolves in the first few minutes; longer steeping mainly brings out the tannins, which give the astringent aftertaste. | Iced tea: prepare as above, let it cool, then put it in the fridge. Serve with ice cubes, a slice of lemon or a few fresh mint leaves. | Best enjoyed between meals.
Good to know: this tea contains caffeine (theine). Moderate caffeine content – the recipe is more diluted than classic black teas, so a mug contains significantly less caffeine than a cup of coffee. Nevertheless, we do not recommend it for children, and it's best not to drink it in the late afternoon or evening, as it may disturb falling asleep. It can also be consumed in moderation during pregnancy and breastfeeding – the recommended daily caffeine intake at these times is a maximum of 200 mg, which this tea alone does not reach. If you are sensitive to caffeine, start with a small amount.
IMPORTANT – when should you be careful? The tannins in black tea may inhibit the absorption of plant-based iron, so drink it between meals; in case of iron deficiency or iron supplementation, leave a gap of 1–2 hours. Jasmine belongs to the olive family – in case of olive or ash pollen allergy, a cross-reaction is theoretically possible. The acidity of lemon peel and the tannins of black tea may cause complaints in case of reflux or a sensitive stomach; in that case, don't drink it on an empty stomach. If you take medication regularly, consult your doctor or pharmacist before regular consumption.
UKKO Vitality Tea is a food product; its use is not a substitute for necessary medical treatment! Not recommended in case of hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients of the tea blend. Results may vary from person to person.
